This White Tail Hawk in the key of "B" minor is the highest octave in the key of "B" flute High Spirits makes. Made from domestic aromatic cedar, a softwood, the flute is sealed with non-toxic oils which give it a warm, resonant and full voice.
This wooden flute is a good accompaniment flute for the Condor Bass "B" flute. It is very easy to play making it an ideal instrument for first time flute players. It is deeper in tone than the Merlin "C".
It is a 6-hole flute, the 3rd hole from the top of the flute (known as the 6th hole) is covered with a leather tie, giving the option to use it as a 6-hole or a 5-hole flute. It is easier to learn on a 5-hole flute.
This wooden flute is 17.75 inches (45 cm) long.
