Features:
Progressive Guitar Chords has been specifically designed for players of three different levels:
The Beginner, who will mainly use the Open Chord Sections. These contain the simplest and most widely used chord shapes in all keys. The Semi-Advanced Player, who will need a thorough knowledge of Bar Chord shapes in all positions. These are particularly useful fo rock guitarists. The Advanced Player, who will refer to the Moveable Shapes for chords widely used by jazz guitarists.
There are three main sections in Progressive Guitar Chords. Section One gives a systematic and concise listing of chord shapes, arranged in order of chord type. These chords are organised for the three levels of guitar players, as described above.
Section Two contains important music theory for guitarists. It provides a thorough knowledge of scales, keys and chord construction, enabling the student to understand (and construct) any chord.
Section Three presents a complete listing of the most common chords in every key, together with example progressions. These "scale tone" chords are extremely useful for choosing the correct backing chords of a song (or melody).
